COBIS - Who are we?

The Churches Of Blacktown In Schools Inc. (COBIS) is a not-for-profit fundraising organisation that places Christian workers in Blacktown City public high schools. 

 

The Christian workers are in the school with three main objectives:

 

• To make known to the whole school community the love of God through the Lord Jesus Christ;

• To demonstrate to the whole school community the love of God through caring relationships; welfare programs within the schools; and connecting people with local churches; and

• To support and give encouragement to Christian students and staff within the schools.

 

Our goal is to increase the number of workers and the number of schools we cover.

 

Currently, COBIS has a presence in

• Blacktown Girls High

• Seven Hills High

• Doonside Technology High

• Evans High

• Mitchell High

• Wyndham College

 

COBIS receives no government funding and exists only through the generosity of its supporters.
